I love blogging. I love the whole world of it, love finding so many people involved in the world of writing, whether professionally or amateurishly . . . that didn’t come out right. I mean I find that bloggers, on the whole, are good at writing whether they do it for a living or not. I feel very comfortable here. I always wanted to be a writer but never got around to it. So I became an architect which isn’t so much my comfort zone.
I have just enrolled in a one day proofreading course, so much am I inspired by this writing caper. I have already been doing a course in freelance writing for magazines, but I like blogging more than all these things, which is to say I don’t get around to any money-making pursuits. Soon this will come back to bite me.
Or not. I’m going with not.
It’s funny isn’t it? Blogging is seriously addictive.
Ah yes, the blogging bug! He and I are best mates you know? We’re joined at the hip.

My husband made a very facetious comment one day about me loving the blg more than him. My response was, weeeeeeeeell, I’m sure you can imagine! The other thing I said was the blog couldn’t get my food ready for me {see, I could say THAT part}
It’s not hard to get comfortable in the blog world. People are friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Blogging is addictive and such a fantastic way to learn and expand horizons!
My son has a blog that covers so much of his homeschooling – spelling, comprehension, reading, composition, grammar, etc- plus the fun side of conversing with other kids hundreds of miles away!
I don’t mind being addicted to it at all. It seems a fabulous thing to me although, as you say, A-Mum, there are still a few things a real person can do better.
Jayne, do you homeschool your son? Hats off to you if you do. What a task. But blogging would be a huge boost to a child’s education. They would start to be pretty self-taught wouldn’t they?
Another addict here.
Yep, blogging is fantastic for writers. Great to hone your style and amass heaps and heaps of material. After a few months, many bloggers have enough for a book at least.
