about me

You can call me Hilary. I am 49 and live near Adelaide. I am an architect and design personal living spaces (houses and such) but I do this from my home and only when I feel like it. You can find out about the important people in my life in  main characters.

My blog is about my (very relaxed) life and how that goes. I have a bit of a philosophical bent and am inclined to worry at life’s most fundamental questions so you might find a hint of that kind of thing in here. If you want the whole story on my take on the big picture look in my other blog here. Also, Jaylen is ‘autistic’ so I find this subject pretty fascinating. I’ll probably be mentioning that from time to time.

Maybe I will discuss relationships too. I have some opinions about them. Might let you know what they are.

For those of you who, like my highly intelligent daughters, have never learnt French at school or anywhere else, the ‘chez moi’ in my tagline is pronounced ’shay mwah’ and means ‘at my place’. I could have said ‘Hilarity and Pathos at My Place’ but, I don’t know, it seems to lack a certain je ne sais quoi.
